The Reel: Erykah Badu's puts an African American twist on Westerns
As Jay Z's Tidal streaming service seeks to secure you as a customer, he has to keep coming with strong and exclusive content. So far this year, we've had Rihanna's "ANTI", Kanye's "Life of Pablo", Beyoncé's "Lemonade" and now Erykah Badu's new film They Die By Dawn. The film about the real life experiences of African-American cowboys and cowgirls. Badu described They Die by Dawn as a story that portrays a "town with no rules, four outlaws play a deadly game; murder and mayhem ensue". The film is directed by The Bullitts' Jemes Samuels.
If you don't have a TIDAL membership, you might want to finally hop on that train.
