In Elle's Magazine's series "The Movement", which celebrates dancers and their bodies, they profiled Khadija Shari. Known for dancing with Rihanna, Beyonce and Pharrell, Khadija candidly talks about not only being an African American woman but a strong-minded African American woman in the entertainment industry. A native of Brooklyn by the way of Trinidad and Tobago, Khadijah recently turned down the chance to tour with Beyonce on her Formation tour to pursue her dreams.
