The Briefing: Rihanna breaking Fashion Barriers as Dior's First African American Spokeswoman

Almost 70 years after its inception, Dior chooses an African American to represent their line. 

In March Rihanna announced that she would become the latest face of the J'adore Dior Campaign during an interview with WWD. Rihanna's selection as the first African American spokeswoman of Dior is a moment to celebrate but its also a moment to reflect on the many challenges the Fashion Industry has when it comes to diversity.
