African Culture meets Superheroes in Oya: Rise of the Orishas, a short film which re-imagines Yoruba cultural deities as modern day superheroes. Directed by Nosa Igbinedion, Oya: Rise of the Orishas, has been embraced by many from around the world and is now available for you to see. If the film is too short for you, Oya: Rise of the Orishas has just been adapted for a film feature film and will start production in Brazil later this year.
