Jamaica might be the original home of dancehall, but New York City can certainly lay claim to some of the genre’s shining moments. Now we’re bringing a wide range of current, future and pioneering dancehall artists together for a massive, free daytime party under the Brooklyn skies. Featuring a special set by dub master and sound system ruler King Jammy, the event will also include performances from Jamaica’s Assassin, Official Lisa Hyper Page, Tifa and Brooklyn’s Kranium, RICKY BLAZE, Mixpak and Federation Sound.


The Fort Greene Park Conservancy is managed by an all-volunteer board, and works in close association with NYC Parks to enhance the park experience in the community. The Conservancy hosts a number of free educational, cultural, and community-building events in the park each year as well as purchasing supplies and plant material.
