Jamaica's Vinyl is a Pressing Matter

Most people when they think of music from Jamaica, they will think of the iconic Bob Marley, Beenie Man, Sean Paul and Vybz Kartel. But the music industry in Jamaica is so much more than any one artist. Much of Jamaica's history can be found in its musical history. Music Journalist Vivien Goldman teamed up with the Vinyl Factory to produce a new short film called Pressing Matters in Jamaica. The film looks into the rich history of the major genres in Jamaican music, such as reggae, dub and dancehall through vinyl records. Check out the film below!
