The Reel: Amandla Stenberg shows us how "Blue Girls Burn Fast

Amandla Stenberg is the very embodiment of Black Girls Rock and Blackgirl Magic! Not only has she proven, she is able to bring words to into action with her roles in many films, Amandla is now adding creating films to her many talents. 

Blue Girls Burn Fast is a short film written, shot, directed, edited and produced by Stenberg as apart of her enrollment in NYU's film program. She recently took to Instagram to share with us her new project! 

So excited to officially share Blue Girls Burn Fast with you. @yaoimandel stars as Andy, and @whoooleeaah stars as Lea. It's a short I wrote, directed, shot, and edited. It was also my NYU application film. I made it with my best friends (@bailey_wait assisted directed, @novemberskyys was the boom operator) with a DSLR camera and lots of love.
