MOVEMENTS: American Ballet Theatre's First Black Principal

In 2001, Misty Copeland joined the American Ballet Theatre with the goal of becoming a principal dancer within the company. Tuesday, this dream came true as the 75 year old dance company named her a principal. The First African American Principal, Misty Copeland has been committed to increasing diversity within ballet.
