The Briefing: The Supreme Court Upholds Healthcare Subsidies

According to the New York Times, the Supreme Court in a 6-to3 decision ruled in favor of President Obama signature health care legislation, the Affordable Care Act. The decision permits the Obama Administration to provide nationwide tax subsidies to help those in to purchase health insurance. The majority opinion was authored by Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr.
