The Soundtrack: M.I.A & Cultural Appropriation

Artist, M.I.A took to twitter to voice her concerns about culture appropriation. She tweeted "I've been told I can't put out a video because it's shot in Africa. Discuss." M.I.A went on to argue that there's a double standard for artist like her, especially when shooting videos in countries such as the United States and Germany.
