Atlanta: Darker Than Blue is a photographic portrayal of Atlanta's history through the lives of its' African American citizens. Created by Black Vrchives, this visual curated history begins with the Civil Rights Era in Atlanta, then highlights the ride of Atlanta's first Black Mayor - Maynard Jackson, the Atlanta Child Murders, 1970s and 1980s, the hip-hop era and Freaknik.
