In 2013, we were all taken by surprised when Endia Beal created her photography series "Can I Touch it", which depicted white women with hairstyles typically worn by African American women in corporate portraits. Now Beal, an associate professor of art and the director of Diggs Gallery at Winston-Salem State University, wants you to look at what it means to be African American, Young and Professional.  "Am I What You're Looking for" attempts to add to the blank canvas of what is means to be portrayed positively as a young African American professional female!
